TS-430 Control Board: IC-6 Waveforms
IC-6 is the static RAM chip that holds the band, frequency,mode, memories for long term storage. It is used particularly when the radio is turned off in order to keep track of where you were operating. When the rig is turned back on, data is read from the ram chip and the radio is set up in the last known state before it was turned off.

Pin 18: Output Disable – Keeps the Ram from putting it’s data on the shared output lines.

Pin 20: Read/Write – Selects Read or Write mode

Pin 22: +5 volts VCC
